How to root your Android device right now? ( For rookies)

Rooting your Android device makes you a superuser actually. There's a lot of stuff possible with your device with root access like overclocking your CPU, using pagefile system in your external SD card to increase your virtual memory, changing system fonts ( in the handsets where it's not available in settings beforehand), installing custom ROMs etc. Only disadvantage is that it will void your warranty. But don't worry, if you do the stuffs meticulously, there's least chance that your gadget will be bricked.

So rooting can be done in a several ways. I'm gonna tell you the way which doesn't need a PC. It gets done in minutes.

So first of all download the APK file of KingRoot from its official website. Install the app from the APK. (You have to check the unknown sources check box in the security settings of your phone). As this program is going to root your phone, there might be several notifications like 'This app is harmful to your device' but believe, it won't harm. Just open the app and hit the root button. You'll see your device model recognized by the app and your rooting process will start. You can see the progress in percentage in the dashboard. A few seconds letter, it's bingo. Your phone is rooted.

KingRoot also has an option to unroot your phone.

One more advantage of this is that whenever root access is required, it won't grant the permission at once, there will be a confirmation box where you have to hit ALLOW each time root authentication is to be given. So it's quite safe.

How to download files from Dropbox and Google Drive using IDM?

First of all let me tell you that the title of this article should be "How to download files from Dropbox  and Google Drive using IDM or any other download manager ?" Ever wondered if you could download gigantic files with pause and resume support with your favorite download manager. Generally, download managers can't do that because they have not cookies, unlike browsers. But as you know, there's always a way. Downloading drom Dropbox: 1. Mark the address bar. 2.Copy the URL to the clipboard. 3. Add the URL to your download manager (Here I'm using Tonec IDM). You should seethe link starting with " https://www.. ." 4. Replace that with "dl", viz. your link " https://www .dropbox.com/s/3fo8409jtcfz1nh/Adobe%20Dreamweaver%20CC%202015_x64bit.rar?dl=0" will be now  " dl ..dropbox.com/s/3fo8409jtcfz1nh/Adobe%20Dreamweaver%20CC%202015_x64bit.rar?dl=0" 5. Finally start the download and...

New fraud WhatsApp message misguiding people to get them free data on Jio

A message telling users to "upgrade their services" has gone viral on popular social instant messaging platform WhatsApp. As you can clearly see the actual URL of the site is http://upgrademyjioservice.blogspot.in/, just a blog , which is not associated with Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited in anyway. And at the bottom of the message, you can see the hood-winker has used URL shortening service TINYCC  to beguile people. On clicking the link you will land on the blog Looking at the address bar, it's a Blogspot site. It will tell you to download an app (in APK) and install it. And mark the unnecessary permissions required for the app too. Think about it. If it's really from Jio and an official offer, then why wouldn't it be in Play Store? Why wouldn't it not be advertised on MyJio app? MyJio is the self-care application by Jio facilitating  users to manage their Jio Account and Digital Services associated with it. Why wouldn't it be...

How to make unresumable downloads resumable?

While downloading from some sites you must have seen the links going expired. Some download manager also have a "Refresh Download Link" feature to solve that. However it doesn't work in all cases. So to clinch that issue, you can download those files to your cloud drive and download those from it itself. There is no time limit in downloading from cloud drives and you can easily take the advantage of pause and resume features. I'm going to use Google Drive and MultCloud here. However there are many other sites you can get by just googling it. First of all get the link of the file to be downloaded. Goto MultCloud (you have to create an account) add the URL, it will be saved to your Google Drive. Now it's all done. You can simply download the file with no hassle from your cloud storage without bothering about expiration of link or time limit. There's another feature of MultCloud, some sites even restrict your download speed to few KB/s, by using it you can d...
